Overview

Weros Tacos Restaurant, nestled along Jackson Street in Denver, offers a genuine taste of Mexican street food in a casual, approachable setting. This spot, known for its al pastor and asada tacos, captures the essence of traditional flavors with an authentic touch that resonates deeply with both locals and visitors craving a quick, satisfying meal.

The restaurant operates out of a modest taco truck, emphasizing the importance of flavor over frills. The simplicity of fresh cilantro and onion toppings, alongside a robust selection of house-made salsas and refreshing accompaniments like pickled jalapeños and cucumber slices, shows their commitment to authentic Mexican cuisine. Such elements elevate each bite without overwhelming the palate.

Weros Tacos excels at delivering large, flavorful portions that avoid grease while maintaining richness. Their birria offerings, in particular, stand out for their depth and seasoning, hinting at slow-cooked traditions passed down through generations. The burritos and quesadillas also carry this signature, underscoring the team's focus on hearty comfort food that keeps customers coming back year after year.

Beyond the food, the experience here is warm and genuine. The staff is known for their kindness and attentiveness, fostering a welcoming atmosphere reflective of the neighborhood's community spirit. While the truck is compact and cash-only, this straightforward approach complements the genuine street-food vibe.

Weros Tacos appeals especially to those seeking quick, authentic Mexican fare without pretension—a crowd ranging from busy Denver locals to aficionados of regional taco styles reminiscent of San Diego and Tijuana. Though it may not serve as a destination spot across the city, it holds a treasured place as a reliable, flavorful stop for anyone nearby.

In essence, Weros Tacos Restaurant combines simplicity, tradition, and quality into each dish, offering a small but powerful taste of Mexico right in the heart of Denver.

My foreign friend's 2nd taco truck experience and it did not dissapoint. Know that he only accepts cash. Small taco truck, but big on flavor. The birria and Al pastor tacos were my favorite. He had jarritos and sauces. Typical taco truck with only cilantro and onion as God intended. I wouldn't go all the way from one side of the city to the other her for tacos, but If i was in the area and need a quick delicious bite, this would be it.

Got a barria burrito- so flavorful and not greasy , large portion with a tasty, strong tortilla. I love the addition of a red and green salsa on the side (spicy), slices of cucumber, and a grilled jalapeño. Gentleman who work there were so nice.

Very very good! Closest we’ve found in Denver to street tacos in San Diego and Tijuana (where we used to live/go all the time)
